What a sight letter can carry

A sight letter brings the name you sign, the return email, a phone number only if you add it, and the question. Document numbers and card numbers do not belong in that letter.

Not taken on the page

No account is opened on these pages. There is no form that the server accepts. Cookies for advertising are not set. Cookies for analytics are not set. No advertising kit and no analytics kit is embedded.

Host lines

File hosting can leave a standard access line: network address, browser, calendar day, and requested page. The guild does not build advertising profiles from those lines.

Why a letter is kept

Correspondence is kept so a vista question can be answered, a printed company fact can be checked, and the thread that answer sits on can remain.

How long

A message stays while the question still needs it. Ask from the same address to have the copy we still hold deleted. A backup, or a copy retained because the law says so, is deleted when that duty ends.

Other parties

The guild does not sell personal information. Hosting and mail delivery use the technical data those services require. A legal demand is answered with what the demand covers.

Younger readers

The sight pages are not directed at children under 13. Do not have a child send personal information to the guild.

Where the office is

Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States is the office. Mail may be read and stored in the United States.

Asking about a letter

You can ask to see letter content we still hold, to correct it, or to delete it. The guild may first confirm the request comes from the same email address.

A revised notice

An updated policy replaces the date shown under the heading.
